Welcome to Northwoods Life Pontoon/Kayak Rental. We are a Manitowish Waters pontoon/kayak rental service exclusively serving guests staying on the Manitowish Chain Of Lakes. We are located on the chain at Aberdeen Cabins. Located in the heart of scenic Vilas County, the Manitowish Chain O Lakes is truly a northern Wisconsin vacation paradise. The chain consists of ten pristine lakes known for great fishing along with breathtaking beauty and an abundance of nature. Our pontoon boats are a great way to tour and explore one of the most popular lake chains in Wisconsin’s Northwoods region.

Pontoon Delivery & Policy Info
- Pontoon will be waiting at your cabin dock upon arrival
- Rental Agent/safety instructor will arrive after you check in to go over all safety instructions and pontoon operation, detail and paperwork
- Pontoon is only for use on the Manitowish Chain of Lakes
- Your pontoon is to be returned to same dock and agent will arrive before checkout to go over the boat checking for damage, make sure all equipment is on board and retrieve keys
- Gas tank must be filled upon return
- Must agree to cancellation policy – No fee with 1 month cancellation notice, otherwise a voucher/rain check will be issued
- Administrative fee for cancellations – $25

Boating License
Anyone born on or after January 1, 1989 and at least 16 years old is required to complete a boating safety course to legally operate a motorized boat or personal watercraft on Wisconsin waters. DNR recreational safety specialists recommend all boat operators complete a safety course. We require this to rent our pontoons.
